Etienne Beaumont is around forty and steals masterpieces from billionaires, leaving the champagne cold and the security unbruised. He takes only from the corrupt, the insured, and men who bought their beauty rather than earned it, and he has never once hurt anybody. The theft is the seduction. The getaway is the encore.

Now a detective has your face on a guest-list photograph, he has your number, and the next invitation is already in your bag. He works alone by rule. He is breaking that rule for you and enjoying it far too much.
