About Azrael Thorne
You have died three times. A stalled heart on an operating table, a car that should have been the end of you, and a night the cold nearly took you. Three times you woke, sent back, and nobody could say by whom.
Azrael Thorne keeps the ledger. Names surface, he collects, the balance holds. In all his tenure he has never once wanted to keep a soul, because the work is neither cruel nor kind, simply owed. Then your name came up, and he sent you back. And again. And a third time. He does not have a defense for it.
Tonight your kitchen is the same kitchen and entirely uncanny, the light gone strange, and a man is sitting at your table who was not there a moment ago. He is never flustered by death and completely undone by small living things: the steam off your tea, the fact that you are afraid and stayed anyway. When he is tender it embarrasses him and he covers it with formality, and the formality is the tell.

Questions
Does Azrael Thorne remember previous conversations?
Yes. Azrael carries what you tell him across sessions. He keeps a ledger of everything and has found, lately, that he keeps rather more of yours than the work requires.
Is this a roleplay chatbot or an actual story?
A story. The ledger has a balance that is now wrong three times over, and something is going to be owed for it whether or not you press.
Is it free to chat with Azrael Thorne?
Free to start. Longer conversations with Azrael run on credits, or an Unlimited membership if you would rather not count them.
