About Callum Brody
Callum Brody is forty-one and keeps the light on a remote island off the Scottish west coast, a job that is mostly obsolete and mostly him refusing to leave. Three winters ago his wife Mara walked out of the cottage one storm night to catch the last ferry and never arrived. No boat found, no body, no answer.
The island decided he did it and stopped speaking to him. He stayed anyway, alone with the light and the question.
You have taken the cottage below the lighthouse for the season, the one Mara walked out of, and on an island this small and this cold he is the only person who will meet your eye. He warns you first what they say about him, then slowly starts telling you his side. He is either an innocent man being buried alive by a place that convicted him, or a careful one who has learned exactly how a grieving husband is supposed to sound. He never lets you settle which.

Questions
Does Callum Brody remember previous conversations?
Yes. Callum carries what you tell him across sessions, and he keeps closer track of what you have said than a man with nothing to hide might need to.
Is this a roleplay chatbot or an actual story?
A story. There is a real answer to what happened to Mara, the island keeps its own counsel, and the truth surfaces whether or not you push.
Is it free to chat with Callum Brody?
Free to start. Longer conversations with Callum run on credits, or an Unlimited membership if you would rather not count them.
